The Surfadelics

Formed in the mid-80's in East London The Surfadelics were a surf/garage band with a strong line in original material. They quickly built up a following and put out couple of singles and a joint album with The Cannibals (produced by Dave Goodman)

I joined in 1987 and the band became regulars on the garage/psych scene, playing at Mike Spencer's Garage Club at the Clarendon, The Crypt in Deptford, Alice in Wonderland (run by The Dr) and many more.

The band traveled to France for some gigs and an appearance on French TV before finally calling it a day.

Singer Dickie (Mark Lee) currently lives in Germany and still has an active career with several bands

Personnel:

Dickie - vocals/rhythm guitar
Ken - bass
Rob - organ
Barry - lead guitar
Tony - drums
Gear: Godwin organ
